The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton regularly recycles her outfits, and why you should too.

Gone are the days when being seen in the same outfit more than once was considered a sin. Clothing is made to be worn, and re-worn. Stop hiding your favorite pieces in the back of the cupboard and let them shine, time and time again. Embrace recycling the same outfit.

Recycling your outfits has numerous benefits:

  • Reduces decision fatigue

  • You buy less clothes

  • Easier laundry

  • Kinder on the earth

Kate Middleton is a big fan of outfit repeating. If it’s good enough for the Duchess of Cambridge, then it’s good enough for us. The stylish royal doesn’t shy away from some bold colors, including a Luisa Spagnoli skirt suit, which she was photographed wearing in 2011, 2014, and 2017. Here are three times the royal outfit repeated.

To keep your outfit looking fresh, play around with your hair, makeup and accessories. This will give the recycled outfit a fresh, new look.  And for anyone who might try and judge you remember what our girl Lizzie McGuire once said “I may be an outfit repeater, but you’re an outfit rememberer, which is just as pathetic!”
